NHRMC cancer seminar being held Thursday night

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in America, according to the American Cancer Society. Now is your chance to learn more about the disease, and the newest technology in cancer treatment.

New Hanover Regional is holding a free prostate and gynecologic cancers seminar Thursday night. Urologists and oncologists will speak about prevention, diagnosis and treatment. You'll even meet the new da Vinci surgery robot.

The seminar is from 6:30 to 8:30 at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Surgery Pavilion.
