NEW HANOVER COUNTY -- A fire destroyed a family's storage building.
It started around two o'clock Saturday afternoon, just off of Murrayville Road.
The Deputy Fire Marshall says a cigarette started the fire. Two sisters who owned the storage building say they were cleaning the unit.
They left for a little while and when they returned, they discovered the building in flames. No one was injured.
The unit is a total loss.
