An early Christmas for residents of Brunswick Cove

Christmas came a little early for Brunswick Cove residents Wednesday.

Santa and Misses Claus had a little help from some boy scouts, handing out presents to senior citizens who made the nice list. Of course, a holiday party means a holiday meal. Even with all the food and presents, residents remember the reason for the season.

When asked what her favorite part about Christmas is, Jackie Powell said, “Receiving gifts and praising God.”

Family members and volunteers bought and wrapped the gifts for Brunswick Cove's Annual Christmas Party.

Residents said they're already looking forward to New Year's Eve and the Valentine’s Day dinner dance.
