WILMINGTON -- A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Monday morning after getting hit by an SUV.
Police say the driver of a burgundy Isuzu slammed into the motorcyclist at the intersection of 13th and Greenfield Streets in Wilmington.
Investigators say the driver of the SUV fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the motorcycle was treated and released from New Hanover Regional Medical Center Monday afternoon.
No word on whether police have found the Isuzu driver.
