It is spring and that means spring-cleaning.
Through Saturday, the town of Carolina Beach is dedicated to helping you with its sixth annual spring-clean up.
Dumpsters have been set up at the town's Operations Garage on Dow road.
If you are a resident of Carolina Beach, you can bring appliances, yard waste and furniture.
Organizers expect more than 1,500 people to take advantage of the clean-up program.
Roger Trogdon, the Town Environmental Department Supervisor says, “people get to clean off their lots. Cleaning makes their lots and everything look better and they bring in all their stuff they have been collecting for years. A lot of the stuff is going to be recycled, so it works out great.”
Carolina Beach residents may take their trash to the town's Operations Garage on 304 Dow Road.
The bins will be available through Friday from 7am to 5pm and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
