Pender County woman arrested, accused of sex with teen

PENDER COUNTY -- A Pender County woman is in jail, accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Thirty-five-year-old Emily Willis turned herself in to the Pender County Sheriff's Office Thursday.

Willis is charged with five counts of statutory sex offense and another five counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

Investigators say one of the victim's relatives came forward to authorities with information about the relationship.

She is being held in jail on $500,000 bond.
