COLUMBUS COUNTY -- Chadbourn's annual Strawberry Festival has officially begun and Thursday morning some of the festivities came to New Hanover County.
The Strawberry Festival in Chadbourn has begun. The festival is one of the richest traditions in Columbus County and one of the main attractions is the hot air balloons.
The Strawberry Festival also features other events: a carnival, car show, arts and crafts and, of course, all of those tasty treats.

If you're planning on heading out to the Strawberry Festival this weekend it's located at the corner of Highway 410 and Highway 74 in Columbus County.
The 25 gigantic hot air balloons will be a dead give away!
