RALEIGH (AP) -- A data storage company says it's going to expand its operations in Research Triangle Park.
Network Appliance said today it will add 646 jobs and invest more than $41 million over the next ten years. State business recruiters approved at least $15 million in incentives for the California-based company.
The new jobs will pay an average salary of more than $94,000 a year. Under the proposal, Network Appliance must create the jobs during the next four years and sustain its payroll for another six years to receive the full package.
Network Appliance has operated in the Research Triangle Park areas since 1999. The company currently has more than 600 workers at its RTP facilities and 6,000 employees worldwide.
