New Hanover County -- New Hanover County School administrators have approved a new dress code for employees.
Teachers, coaches and all other county school employees can no longer wear jeans, shorts, flip-flops or T-shirts on days students are at school.
Nose and tongue piercings are also off-limits.
District administrators say principals can allow a dress down day once a month.
The dress code is meant to project a more professional employee image and set a positive example for the student body.
