Oak Island bridge work to resume

After months of investigation into the death of a construction worker on the new Oak Island bridge, work is scheduled to resume.

Engineers have given the go-ahead to resume work on the second bridge to the island. Work was halted after a girder collapsed last December, killing a worker.

It will take contractors some time to get equipment back up and running. No word on when the million dollar bridge project will be complete.
