Hurricanes recall Bayda from Albany
RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Carolina Hurricanes recalled left wing Ryan Bayda today on an emergency basis to replace injured winger Cory Stillman. Stillman, who was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, left during the second period of Carolina's 2-to-1 win Tuesday over the Montreal Canadiens. Bayda has already been recalled from Albany twice this season, scoring one goal and earning one assist in six games with the Hurricanes. While with Albany, Bayda scored 15 goals and earned 12 assists in 29 games. Bayda is in his sixth professional season and has played in 75 career N-H-L games with the Hurricanes, recording eight goals and 14 assists. Copyright 2007 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
