Sheridan-pompous, arrogant and a disgrace

Every time Earl opens his mouth he demonstrates the arrogance and ignorance of some we have elected. he needs to go- he and Saffo have given us higher taxes, a wasteful convention center and now they want to help their buddies with a BB team that will fail. Shame on him for being self serving- shame on us if we elect this buffon ever again

Lets see

Civitas I scientific poll 80% against
Civitas II scientific poll 80% against
NSS non scientific for the stadium 47% say they want to contribute NOTHING to the building of the stadiuum
WWAY poll non scientific 64% say NO 24% say yes or about 3 to 1.

4 polls with 3 polls very much against the stadium.

Oh well

Vog

no tax payer funded baseball stadium

why should taxpayers have to fund it?

I do not care what they build as long as we do not have to fund it!

IT WILL NOT WORK ANYWAY !!!! if it is such a winner why can they not find private funding???? such a bonehead move.& such a waste of money in any times, much less these hard times; did we not have a terrible recesscion; are people not trying to overcome hard times? no consideration for anything but their own agenda!!

Baseball

With the park bond coming due, food prices going up, taxes going up, gas prices increasing, TV viewing costs increasing, cell phones going up in prices, edcuation cost going up, insurance prices out of sight, Water Bills, Electrical Bills, Gas Bills.... and now let's pay for a ball park and add that to all the other increases, NO THANK YOU.

The Fact

is, The City has performed in a professional and transparent manner. There is evidence of both opposition and proponent status. The process is called Democracy. Some can't accept this but it's what makes ours the best country in the world. Putting this issue on the ballot and letting Wilmington vote it up or down is the best choice for the city council.
