They had their day in court and were found guilty. Why should the courts grant a pardon? I lived through those times and remember well the violence that went on.

In my opinion,if the wilmington ten committed the same acts of violence today, they would be called terrorist. If they should get a pardon,I think they would turn around and sue the State for damages. That would be a smack in the face for every law biding citizen.
