How do you feel about Downtown Wilmington?

If we feel less safe down town since the Police Station moved?

I run early morning 5:50am about 3 to 4 times a week. It is dark but I have never felt at risk with the street lights and police patrol plus other runners and early morning city workers and students. Crime is everywhere, folks. No need to trash downtown just because it is all of a sudden an easy target. Look at the stats and you will see that the crimes there is on the decrease.

I was born here and never seen it so bad downtown,I would never take a visitor to such a crap hole..oh unless they wanted to get drunk,killed or want some drugs.

I, personally have never heard Mayor Saffo address this huge issue. There IS an issue, here, that's quite apparent! Look at the poll #'s. Someone should e-mail this to him...

Murder, Assault, Rape, Robbery, Burglary, Fights, Drugs, Gangs, Home Invasion, etc.

No need to Bring It Downtown!
