Shared by Jerry Jackson
Ingredients:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 small bag Pepperidge Farms cornbread stuffing
1 small bag Pepperidge Farms herb stuffing
3 cans chicken broth
1-2 hard boiled eggs
Bread crumbs
Salt
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 9X9 cooking pan. Mix together cornbread and herb stuffing. Add cream of chicken and cream of celery to mixture. Add 1 can of chicken broth. Stir mixture until well blended. Dice and add hard boiled egg(s) as desired. Add another can of chicken broth and mix well. Dressing should be thick, but runny. Add bread crumbs and chicken broth until desired consistency. Add salt for taste as desired. Pour dressing into greased cooking pan. Bake at 400 degrees until dressing boils around edges of the pan. Turn oven on broil to brown the crust of the dressing. Dressing is usually served warm when it is still soft, but can be cooled slightly to firm.
