RALEIGH (AP) -- Optimal Technologies US Inc. is moving it headquarters from Canada to Raleigh, bringing 325 jobs and investing $2.4 million during the next three years.
The company provides software and technology to help utilities and consumers optimize their energy usage. Governor Mike Easley's office said state business recruiters will provide a $325,000 grant to Optical Technologies for making the move.
Easley's office said the company's average salary will be $71,250, about $30,000 more than the Wake County average.
The company is currently headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.
