WILMINGTON -- ILM saw a record year in 2007. Wilmington's airport broke the 800,000 passenger mark in '07.
That was a 25 per cent increase over 2006 and 14 per cent better than the previous record in 2005.
The reasons? All jet service with more flights to more places -- and more competitive fares.
Airport director Jon Rosborough hopes to the increasing numbers to help lure more airlines and more flights to Wilmington.
