Injured on the job

Many of you have perhaps yourself, or maybe had a family member or known someone who was injured on their job. Jobsite injuries are unfortunately fairly commonplace and their effect on the worker and their finances can present definite challenges.

What incentive is there...

What incentive is there for the workman's comp ins. company to settle your claim once the doctor releases you? Especially when you still are not 100% ok, and the employer does not want you back to work for him. I need to know what I can and cannot do. I supposedly have an attorney, but they fail to return my phone calls. I am at my wits end. I have bills piling up, with no income, and I had been out of work for over a year before the doctor just wrote me off, and said my injury was as good as he could see. But I only received a 10% rating, and I still can't lift more than 50 lbs with my hand, and I used to lift air conditioning units. If anyone can help me please return comment. Thanks,
