It was a busy week for health inspectors in New Hanover County [1].

There are five low performers and four re-grades.

The Port City java on Carolina Beach road had several points taken off this week. Cream was improperly stored, bagels stored in trash bags, no hair nets for employees and dirty equipment. Port City Java scores an 86.5.

In the re-grade category: China Garden on Independence Boulevard scored 84 last month.
This month, just four and a half points deducted for food temperature and storage problems. China garden gets a 95.5.

Deluxe on Market Street had 12 violations last month, scoring 83.5. This month, only a few points taken off for repairs that were needed to walls, floors and mixing bowls.
Deluxe scores 96.5.

And Spiros Breakfast and Lunch on Greenfield Street scored 76 last month. This month, better -- 85 but still a few problems.
