Thirteen interested in replacing Hewett

Thirteen people have expressed interested in being the new sheriff of Brunswick County. On May 10, the Brunswick Democratic Party's Executive Committee will meet to choose a replacement for ex-Sheriff Ron Hewett, who was removed from office in late March.
