NC offshore drilling resolution introduced

This week, Republicans in the state house introduced a resolution that would allow North Carolinians to decide whether drilling should be allowed off the North Carolina coast. The move has little chance of passing, since it's largely opposed by Democrats who dominate the general assembly. Right now, it is stuck in the rules committee, and the general assembly's short session is expected to wrap up this week.
