LELAND, NC (WWAY) -- An area high school baseball star will soon be a Tar Heel.
North Brunswick High School pitcher Kyle Hufham put his name on the dotted line Thursday. He says he's focused on his senior season right now, but will move on to Chapel Hill next year to pitch for UNC.
"It's great to have that complete let off. You know where you are going to school. Just pitch now and have fun the rest of my senior year. Not worry about where I'm going to college at all," Hufham said.
Hufham will pitch tonight as the Scorpions host West Bladen at 6 p.m.
