North Carolina budget includes film incentives

Film, television and production companies spent more than $160 million in North Carolina last year. The North Carolina film office released the figure today saying it was a 61 percent increase from 2006. The state budget that's awaiting governor Mike Easley's signature ensures the state-funded film incentive packages will be available until 2014.
