North Carolina company trying to switch to plastic made from bio-safe corn

For one Winston-Salem company, oil and water just don't mix. Primo water says it's trying to be the first U.S. retailer to switch from plastic bottles made of petrol products, to containers made of bio-safe corn. According to the national container recycling institute, Americans have thrown away more than 64 billion bottles this year alone. A primo water spokesperson says if all those bottles were made with corn, America would save billions of gallons of petrol per year.
