Northwest Police Department looking for Jabar Ballard

Northwest police need your help finding a man wanted for holding his relatives hostage, and demanding money. Jabar Ballard is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault, and second degree kidnapping. Ballard allegedly held his cousin, and the cousin's son at gunpoint, around 6:00 Sunday morning at a home in Northwest. He was last seen driving a black 2005 Infiniti with North Carolina plate YZA-4696. Ballard is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, or know where he is, call the Northwest Police Department at 655-3300 or the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.

It is what it is people...What makes his situation any different from any other career criminal....do your homework, his record speakes for itself, and it does not show that this ANIMAL is an angel. All prayers for the victims and their families....

This is yet another example of the irresponsible reporting that could lead to death. Get a group of trigger-happy policemen, and feed them the idea that a black man is armed/dangerous and watch the sparks fly???Before being tried, how is he considered "dangerous" or armed for that matter. He is "suspected" (although I don't even think legitimately) based upon absolutely nothing but hatred--how is it that anyone can be so-called "positively identified" when the perpetrator wore a mask?

Not dangerous. How many people has Jabar Ballard shot? I know of about 3. He is dangerous and needs to be in prison where he belongs.

unless you personally know him, identifying him under a false statement as "dangerous" is giving false information. i am a child of Jabar Ballard's and until he is proven guilty, i'd appreciate dearly that all negativity built upon him may be discharged. -Miss Ballard

The facts speak for him - he has a felony criminal history 8 pages long & has been locked up numerous times. check it on NC Offenders. Jabar is Low Down Dirty Scum of the Earth.
