Ohio firefighters find tiger in burning home

Firefighters in Ohio had a surprise waiting for them when they arrived to fight a house fire. A passerby saw flames coming from a garage, called 911-and rescued the homeowner and his pets. But in the garage was a full-grown Bengal tiger. Everyone got out of the fire safely. A woman who owns a nearby wildcat sanctuary says the tiger is safe, but what if the owner was not around or unable to help in an emergency? The fire chief says they would not have to be notified about Rick Armstrong's three cats, two dogs, his rabbit and his snake. But a tiger should be considered a hazard. Armstrong says he does not have a USDA permit for the tiger. Unless he breeds it or shows it he may not need it.
