Pender County teacher involved in fatal car wreck

Mrs. Larkins... you were a wonderful teacher and i loved your chemistry class all the way. I want to thank you for everything that you taught me and i want you to know that you made a difference in my life. You never lost faith in me and always knew that i would be great. I will never forget you; i will never forget all the laughter, all the interesting labs, all the time that i spent with you and the class which whom we grew as a family. And that smile in your face that you would give me letting me know that you were proud of me. I will not forget you. I will keep you always in my heart and in my memories. You were a great person and your legacy lives on. Thank you for everything and the only thing i regret was not letting you know how much you meant to me. Mrs. Larkins to me was more than a teacher, she was a counsler, and a mother-figure. She has literally taught everyone in my house, my mother, my older brother, and myself. Words cannot even begin to express the loss that i personally feel because Mrs. Larkins was like family to me. I will truly miss her and I will never, ever forget the morals and values that she instilled in my life and in the lives of others that i have personally witnessed. I love you Mrs. Larkins.

I had the honor of working with her for several years and of teaching her daughter. She will truly be missed.
