CARY, N.C. -- Gov. Beverly Perdue is hosting four other fellow Democratic governors in North Carolina for a quick conference to talk about how technology can help breed creative and innovative policies in state government.
The Democratic Governors Association's regional policy conference begins on Tuesday night at a Cary hotel and runs until Wednesday afternoon and also includes a fundraiser designed to help keep Democratic gubernatorial candidates.
Other governors scheduled to attend are association chairman Jack Markell of Delaware, Martin O'Malley of Maryland, Phil Bredesen of Tennessee and Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania.
The event is closed to the press. Tickets were $250, but certain high-level donors to the association can get in free.

How much will it cost?
How much will it cost us to put these others up? OHHHH YEAH, It doesn't matter what we want, think or say about state spending, the Queen does what she wants. Just like KING Obuma. Spend Spend Spend and damn the consequences. We will just keep on taxing the working, keep paying the worthless leeches on welfare, and pretend that money doesn't matter.
EMPEACHMENTS will REIGN (and RAIN) across America. Dems, you have seen your last election won for a while.
One encouraging point
no travel for her on this outing. Unless she uses a state helicopter to get from Raleigh to Cary.
