Perdue, McCrory to debate on TV again

READ MORE:
RALEIGH -- Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory and Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue are returning to television for another debate, eight weeks before voters choose North Carolina's next governor. The Republican and Democratic nominees will meet Tuesday night in a one-hour live forum at the WRAL-TV studios in Raleigh. It will be their third head-to-head meeting since winning gubernatorial primaries in May. Since their last debate three weeks ago, Perdue's campaign has been critical of McCrory on school vouchers, arguing his support for them would cost hundreds of millions of dollars. McCrory dismisses the argument. He and surrogates have countered that Perdue has backed subsidies for children who attend private preschools and universities. Libertarian candidate Mike Munger was not invited to the debate. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)

McCrory....a Better Way

Pat McCrory is a native North Carolinian who has more than proven his strengths and abilities as seven time Mayor of Charlotte. Just as important is his determination to lead the state in a better direction...a direction that's best for the citizens, and future of the state, and not just for the established power elite, who are now in complete control of our state government. His very presence as Governor would begin a much needed start of checks and balances within state government, which is now interwoven with insider, and one party corruption. Les Merritt, NC State Auditor, is doing just that in Raleigh today, with much push back form those already in office, who want things to remain just as they are, and certainly out of the public eye. I hope McCrory gets his chance!

No show perdue

Since Perdue doesn't think enough of Southeastern North Carolina to come here and debate, I don't think anyone should consider her for Governor. Just think about it. She and Weasley Easley have had enough time to take care of business. If you could send your child to a school that actually has standards and that excels, wouldn't you? Beverly says no. You have to keep your child in a public school so the teachers union can retain power. You don't deserve a choice? It's easy to see thru her motives. I never heard about drilling for oil before. But come election time she alters her opposition just a little. Send her home. Demand a choice for your children. Turn this state around from "business as usual" to a new start.
