Pleasure Island recognized as top destination

The secret is out; Pleasure Island has been recognized as one of the top tourist destinations in America.

The New York Times recently looked at the best travel destinations that offer both simple and exotic pleasures. Pleasure Island made the list because of landmarks like the Carolina Beach State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium, and the Kure Beach Pier.

Pleasure Island also received national recognition from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, saying it had more to offer than just the beach.
