my brother ali

let me say i knew i knew ali like all my life since 1st grade.his mom was like my mom and same goes for him and when i heard wat happened i couldnt believe it ali was a good person and didnt deserve to die no one is a perfect everyone makes mistakes so for all da people who have somethin negative to say i just wanna say how would u feel if it was someone close to u.but ali will always b missed and always b n my heart r.i.p. bro i miss u

Why did it have to result to this?

Just to set the record straight, Ali was a good hearted individual with a kind heart, that was full of nothing but love, happiness and fun!!!!! I knew him very well....He was loved by everyone, especially by his girlfriend, family and friends...He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.....I started out with hatred in my heart, but realized that the individuals who murdered my beloved, will indeed have to answer to GOD for all the things they've done to him. God is in full control of all situation, especially this gruesome murder. To all the negative comments made by individuals, don't judge a book by its cover....if you didn't know Ali, how dare you have the nerve, or guts to say negative things about him. We're all human beings, except the "crabs" that killed him..They too will have their day to answer to God!!!! Missing you Ali...don't worry keep you head up to the skies....you're safe in Gods arms...luv ya!!

close friend of ali

let me say i knew ali like all my life since 1st grade and when i heard wat happened i couldnt believe it he was like a brother to me and i will miss him alot and 4 da people who have negative things to say no matter how a person life is no one deserves to die ali was a good person who will always b missed and b n my heart r.i.p. bro miss u

i knew him

i knew ali personally...and i know what he was about and what hes done....and he was gang related....he did throw signs....and he still didnt deserve to die....if hes committed a crime then he need be arrested...but not dead....not shot down....he has a bad reputation and believe you me i know how that can hurt you....but at no point is it ok for a another person to take your life...who cares about northside...southside...eastside....but thats how it goes with todays "wannabe THUGS"....but theres nothing to be done about it....look at the good things hes done and remember him....catch the person/people who did it...and remeber the good he has done....he just got hired as a night shift at a local group home....and was looking for something to do during the day....why would he be at any point to where he would want to put his life in danger....i think most of you are wrong by what you are saying and need to realized that just cause someone got shot dont mean they needed/deserved to....what if it was your friend/son/daughter/anyone you might actually care about....be real

ALi

This touches all the way 2 New Jersey where Ali is from...This crime was senseless and thier are alot of people hurt all the way here..He was a victim so the cops need to treat him as one regardless of his past

why wpd having found suspects yet

Because they are to busy wanting some one to do the job for them. IF THEY STOP HARRSING THE WRONG PEOLPLE, AND COME WHEN PEOPLE CALL NOT WHEN THEY FELL LIKE THEY MIGHT GET THE SUSPECTS A LITTLE FASTER.

Ali was a good dude who had

Ali was a good dude who had a loving girlfriend and family. Regardless of his pass he didnt deserve that, and he was not screaming northside b/c he aint even from wilmigton so people need to talk what they know. i hope the animals who did this to him sit in jail for the rest of their lives because that is cray to just take someones life like that. Put God first!

His Death

He was in a gang it was gang realated and plus he was on tha wrong side of town NORTHSIDE yelling out things that he shouldn't

Justice served

That's another of society's leeches gone. Good riddance. Now if they can locate and step on the other cockroaches involved, we'll all be better off.

WHAT DO HIS CRIMINAL RECORD HAS

WHATS THIS SUPPOSE TO MEAN SOME TOOK HIS LIFE WHAT DO HIS CRIMINAL RECORD HAVE TO DO WITH SOME TAKING HIS LIFE?????????????????????

Get an education

It is hard to take you seriously or even care about what your comment says because there are so many grammatical errors in it. I can't even tell what you are trying to write. Use proper English when you are trying to make a point or nobody will care what you have to say. I think you meant: "What's this supposed to mean? Someone took his life. What does his criminal record have to do with someone taking his life?"

JUST BECAUSE YOU DIDNT UNDERSTAND

JUST BECAUSE YOU DIDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS SAYING DONT MEAN SOMEONE ELSE COULDNT YOU GET AN EDUCATION I ALREADY HAVE ONE. THIS IS NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH EDUCATION SOMEONE HAS I WAS TRYING TO GET A POINT ACROSS TO WHO EVER PUT HIS CRIMINAL RECORD OUT.

IT MAKES IT EASY

It makes it easy for me to think that somehow KARMA was being played out here.

Because his criminal record proves the old adage....

"Fly with the crows, get shot with the crows." "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." When a CRIMINAL dies a violent death at the hands of another criminal, no one should be surprised......or care.

How dare you say we shouldnt care!

First if all i loved Ali. He was like a brother to me. People wh knew him & loved him cared because he ment a lot to them. Ali was not a criminal, he just made some bad choices in his life but i be damned if someone is going to call him a crimnal and then say who should care? Myself & his family cared and thats all that matters. Yea he had some friends but not one of them came from Wilmington. His true friends are in New Jersey. His mom wanted him and his little sister to have a better life so thats why she moved down here. So all yall who have negitive things to say can go to hell because was a wonderful person & i loved him & i still do.

MORALS

Anything and everything goes in this world these days. It is ashamed that people are so oblivious to wrong/evil and against what is right. When will parents/families stop bickering over foolish things and realize the issue(s) at hand. PLEASE raise your own children now before they become ruined for life...it starts at birth not when they start school. It is truly ashamed that a child, whether they are an adult or not, had the courage to take someone else's life without any concern about the end result. I feel for the parents' of all the children that have been killed and for those that have commited the crime. How can you hate someone that much...especially people of your own race. God created ALL men(women)equal and past leaders fought hard to get us on one accord, yet we continue to fight and kill one another. STOP AND THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OUR GENERATION PEOPLE. I am by no means prejudice, but I do know that there is still prejudice that we face in the world everyday and everywhere. PRAYING FOR A CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!

Ali was a good person that a

Ali was a good person that a lot of people cared a lot about. Regardless of any trouble he had ever been in, he had a good heart and was a good friend. What happened to him was senseless and he will be missed.

Sorry for your lost

I want to say i am sorry for your lost..Not to long ago i lost a good friend too....so i feel your pain....alot of times the person himself has a good heart and very good and friendly person....it's just when they are in that street mode they act the part (Thugs)...I guess growing up on the streets you have to be tough are play the part....the sad part is no one in the street never really knows the real you...Thats why times like these hurt the ones who does know you and care about you the most....God Bless

The article states that he'd

The article states that he'd been in trouble with the law before, not that he was in trouble right now

So so sad

This is very tragic when will these kids learn "live by the Sword Die by the Sword" "play with fire and you can get burned" "Birds of a feather flock together" "If you can't take the heat stay out the kitchen" I could go on & on what will it take for these kids to realize the "thug" lifestyle is a DEAD END ROAD!

how dare u mr scally wagg

how dare u throw stones... if u dispise the thug lifestyle, then why aren't you volunteering in the community to help with our problems... or do you live in a gated community???

I throw stones because I can

Wow first I would like to address the stereotype that I'm affluent in a gated community, my community is not gated but its nice, and I afford it because I graduated UNCW so I can better myself and provide for my family. Lets see I am helping the community, volunteer in Big Buddy, voter registration in urban neighborhoods, etc etc, I've witnessed shootings and murders all here in Wilmington, so I throw stones because I can, I've been on the front lines in Wilmington but eventually there has to be some sort of self-accountability. I'm no racist like alot of these yahoos on here but to leave you with another saying "you can lead people to the water but you can't make them drink it"

Very meaningful

I knew Ali very very well and his family is considered my family. Yes, we are from Jersey and if it weren't for Verizon relocating to Wilmington, we'ed more then likly still reside there and he would still be here. Not to say Wilmington is a bad place. Ali's mother moved up the ladder to provide him and his dear sister a home built from the ground up. He went to Cathlic School in Jersey and Graduated with high honors. What every the case, I'm sure his family would appricate it if those who think they knew him; speak kind words and those who don't; DON'T. The two very young men who ended his life, I'm sure they regret there choice but when well it end. I'd like to become a volunteer in the Big Buddy program for our youth and etc so that I can help make a difference in my new town but like I said, we're new in town. You have my e-mail and if you'r real, I trust you will respond. Also, thank you for your comment "you can lead people to the water but you can't make them drink it", .......for we must continue to find a way to make then want to drink it before it runs out. Thank You.

How can you say it is Scally

How can you say it is Scally Waggs problem. Obviously it is not in his neighborhood, and what difference does it make if he does live in a gated community. Solve your own problems and quit relying on others.

Because they might get shot

Because they might get shot silly! Also, people have to help themselves to some degree, not sit around helplessly and wonder why things are the way they are...

help yourselves

Why would we want to spend time in the ghetto trying to "help" these gangsta wannabes? They do not want whitey doing anything for them, except go to work and pay taxes so they can get their checks. Most of them can barely speak English or apparently spell. Help yourselves.

A little salt

How is he in trouble with the law? He was shot. That makes him a victim. No one is perfect but the killer(s) need(s) to be brought to justice.
