Police use warrants to search Cary jogger's home

READ MORE:
CARY -- Authorities investigating the homicide of a Cary woman found dead in a subdivision construction site say they have searched her family's home and vehicles. Cary Police Chief Pat Bazemore said Wednesday that search warrants obtained overnight also allow police to obtain forensic evidence from the husband of Nancy Cooper. Bazemore said Brad Cooper has been cooperative and had already allowed authorities to search his home and cars. Bazemore said the search warrants allow a more exhaustive search. Police have not named a suspect or a person of interest in Nancy Cooper's death. The 34-year-old mother of two was found Monday by a man walking his dog less than 3 miles from her home. A friend reported Cooper missing Saturday afternoon. Brad Cooper told police his wife went jogging in the morning and never returned. (Copyright 2008 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.)
