The first two female volunteers for the Marine Corps Infantry Officers Course dropped out after two weeks. There is a place for women in the military, just not in Combat Arms. The combat load for a typical Marine Infantryman is well over 100 pounds. Once you add together the equipment you are required to carry, weapons, etc. Then see how they can hang on that 26 mile hump with said equipment. Even for a male its rough.

For one thing, women tend to be an excellent shot! Calm breathing, concentration, smooth trigger pull, they have what it takes. I'd rather have a woman beside me than some "light-in-the-loafers" pansy with a thweet lithp and a boyfriend he can't get off his mind!
