Do you believe North Carolina should have a law requiring photo ID to vote?

100% agree. And it should be for everyone across the board. It's a crime that our society has come to this, but as our examples in Washington have proven, no one is to be trusted.

Why should we not have to prove who we are to vote?

I'm 57 years old and I have to show an ID at GameStop, BlockBuster, the Post Office when I opened my new PO Box, at Harris Teeter at checkout when I buy alcohol, at the ABC store when I use my credit card at checkout, at the bank to cash a check, and many other places. If there are certain individuals who do not have identification or utilities in their name and so on, then they should have social services make a special card for them that they can show upon voting. The bottom line is that we should be able to prove that we are who we say we are when it comes to exercising our right to vote.

We should have a law requiring all registered voters to have "Acceptable" forms of Identification i.e. Drivers License, Military ID, Other forms of Government Issued ID such as Federal ID's and or North Carolina issued Photo ID's such as those issued to Registered non-licensed NC Residents and Seniors.

We're not talking computer chip or tat...just a NC driver's license. Or, we can have it your way and supply a valid birth certificate.

If you have the right to vote, what is the problem with proving it to eliminate voter fraud or illegal immigrants voting? You shouldn't have a problem if you are doing everything legally.

Maybe we should request our government to tattoo our id on our bodies the way the Nazis did. That seems about the mentality of the American public these days.
