Brian is a good man and a great representative of the NC GOP and our Tea Party Movement!
He stands up for the rich and does his best to do nothing for the poor/middle classes. He serves his masters well and we'll do our best to keep him there!
Elections have consequences--locally, too!
WHAT? are you kidding? this is exactly what is wrong with AMERICA... if you are a bully, or loud, obnoxious, cocky or you just represent - no one cares if you are qualified (Sarah Palin). Look if you love the tea party so much - get a job that doesnt waste our governments tax dollars on your addictions and clowning around. Whatever happened to being accountable? or actually being qualified? And you the same tea party fan - would be the first to say - no funding for addicts.. Brian Berger is a waste of time and space and needs to get a real job - so he can pay for his own mistakes. Come on - no wonder the tea party wont last... remember The John Birch society? probably not.. they're long gone too same theme- so too will the tea party be forgotten and probably laughed at - just give it up. You all want everyone to have Like minds, no vision - and be afraid of everything! ON top of all that - Brian Berger has every sign of being an ADDICT! He needs help and not on our time.. I would have been fired in the Private Sector for sure.
Move on to more important issues instead of drumming up "dead end polls & stories" while thinking all along, you are gathering "Neilsen Ratings".
You are not...but maybe only in your mind.
I would like to know why the 86 people why they don't think he should resign. Could these be Brian voting? Can't be his friends or family as they are not sticking by him.
Fed up. Next election there needs to have something on the ballot about removing public officials from office when they are unable to perform.
Drug testing, absolutely anyone in public office, state employees, and most importantly anyone receiving welfare, food stamps or any type of public assistance.
"...and most importantly anyone receiving welfare, food stamps or any type of public assistance?" I didn't realize that a politician using drugs is any better than someone on public assistance. Especially since the politicians write the laws that all of us have to follow. I think the politicians should be held to a higher standard.
Resign now? Absolutely he should. Will he? Not bloody likely. Has far too much continued stupid behavior on his agenda to stop now.
Brian Berger's To-Do List
1. Embarrass the county with utterly stupid actions. (check)
2. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (check)
3. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (check)
4. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (working on it)
5. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (yet to come)
6. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (yet to come)
7. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (yet to come)
8. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (yet to come)
9. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (yet to come)
10. Embarrass the county with even more stupid actions. (yet to come)
Dear UNCW...regarding your recent "Branding Survey" that asked the question "What should Wilmington be tagged as?"...how about "Brian Berger's Stupidity Proving Grounds"?
He should have resigned a long time ago. North Carolina needs to adopt laws that allow the voters a chance to recall inept elected officials.
If he gets jail time or loses his license and cannot drive to work and cannot get a ride (as his family seems to be done with him as they did not bail him out), I suspect he will not be able to attend any more comissioner meetings due to logistics, so he is now not able to truly represent and should be replaced with someone that can.
Who's in favor of ALL elected officials submit to a mandatory drug test now? All the way from the White House to the lowest city official. I think that should be voted on in all areas of this country. The only ones that would vote it down are the ones that may be afraid of what their futures may hold.
I agree with the drug testing elected officials. Sheriffs, Councilmen/woman etc. Don't forget the Mayor of Toronto or Quebec wherever that snapperhead is from.
I believe anyone representing citizens or anyone receiving Government Assistance should be required to be drug tested at ANY TIME. I also believe a lot of citizens, such as myself, voted straight Republican at the polls & "GOT" Mr. Berger! I, for one, believe he should have been removed along time ago. Mr. Berger has obvious mental problems and has no business representing anyone at this time in his life. I wish Mr. Berger the best of luck but time and time again, he shows a lack of interest in his position (continuously late) and once again, bad judgement in his personal life. There are too many people in our community who want to be an asset to our community & not a burden. Mr. Berger MUST GO!
