What would our population be today, if God had not created a woman for man?
Yes, Jesus loves the gays and the lesbians, but he hates their sin.
Two men living together, or two women living together, cannot reproduce another human being, or at least I have not seen it in my life time. They cannot carry out God's first command to man and woman.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be Fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.
They were not created that way. That is there choice of life style, and this life style cannot multiply, or replenish the earth, as God command man and woman to do. May God help them.....
Your god did not create anything. Nature did. Yes it is called evolution. You and I evolved from apes. May the Flying Spaghetti Monster help you.
I am not a Ape..What zoo are you in? I will be glad to send you some bannans...sounds like the coconut has already burst your head...Happy swinging!!!!Oh by the way, God loves animals as well.
I can certainly believe you evolved from apes; however, I did not. God said He created me in His own image. The Bible says that everything was made by Him, and without Him was not anything made. I'll take the Bible's word over yours anyday.
There are many books used to educated children in public schools; but the bible isn't one of them...did you ever wonder why? Maybe because you can't prove any of it.
"Humans are evolutionarily designed to be paranoid, and they believe in God because they are paranoid.
More intelligent children are more likely to grow up to go against their natural evolutionary tendency to believe in God, and they become atheists." Satoshi Kanazawa: Evolutionary psychologist.
This study found that evolution has something to do with why you believe in gods. Its quite interesting, Google it.
The last time I checked, I was straight. So, I have no dog in this fight. NC has no dog in this fight. What is it anybody's buisness if two gay people want to get married?
According to what I read on the net- the divorce rate between straight couples is about 50%. Between gay couples, about 50%.
Maybe we ought to be worried about the felony crime rate or the sorry state of our streets and roads. Maybe we could worry about all the people who graduate from high school, but can not even fill a job application!
It will pass if enough citizens willing to protect the sanctity of marriage and the traditional family unit get out and vote.
A family is made up of people who care and love each other. Thats all it is. No one is asking you to participate, they're asking you not to discriminate.
Even if people vote against the amendment or not does not change what is God's plan for marriage and He alone will pass judgement on those who chose to disobey his word.
...but I will not be voting for it.
I fully agree that marriage is between a man and a woman. Re-defining a word to suit the demands of a small minority is ridiculous.
That said, the wording of the amendment is over the top and basically strips gays and Lesbians of any legal protection at all relative to normal domestic financial dealings and many simple decisions that we heterosexuals take for granted. I am personally familiar with a case in which a man died intestate and his partner of over twenty years was frozen out of everything by the decedent's family...who he wasn't very close with! Yes, he should have had a will, but there needs to be a system in place which mirrors the system for heterosexual couples. If a married heterosexual man dies intestate, his surviving wife (assuming she's the only wife and all children are their joint progeny) in the absence of any challenges, will normally be appointed executor of his estate.
Our Constitution promises "equal protection of law," and the simplest way to insure that gays and Lesbians aren't "marrying" is to choose another vehicle that gives them the same rights we have.
I've said this before and I'll say it again - you may not approve of their lifestyle, you may condemn them as sinners, but they are American citizens and entitled to the same benefits and rights as you or I. People have a right to sin. We're governed by the Constitution, not the Bible.
