Does the shooting at a Colorado movie theater impact your decision to go see a movie?

My family and I watched the new Batman movie in North Myrtle Beach yesterday.

I went and saw the Dark Knight Rises last night. The way people in this town drive, it's more dangerous getting to the theater than being in the theater.

Bottom line is that none of us are promised tomorrow and you just need to be ready if it's your time to go. If you take nothing else from this tragedy, at least learn to tell your friends and family you love them every chance you get.

I don't let things like this keep my from doing what I want - it makes me a little more cautious.

Just as in after September 11 - we couldn't let the terrorists win by shutting down out lives, we could be more careful and be more vigilant. We should always be so.

No one was prepared for what happened in Colorado, just as we are not prepared for other things that happen. We can only hope and pray that this type of situation is a one time thing, but experience has showed us otherwise.

I have my hand gun with at all times.
