How do you feel about convenience store clerks/owners taking shooting lessons?

I agree with store owners/clerks wanting to protect themselves. If a would be robber is armed how would the store owner/clerk defend him or herself; and that's when seconds count, your local law enforcement is only minutes away.

I am all for it may possibly save their or someone elses' life. If they wait on the police or sheriffs it could be minutes; if the would be robber is armed you have no time.

There are too many news stories I'm hearing lately about store clerks taking matters into their own hands and trying to be heroes. It isn't worth it for a few bucks that doesn't even belong to them. Stay calm, give the thief what he wants, and then let the cops deal with it. Law enforcement are the ones who have training on how to deal with these guys, NOT CLERKS. If this keeps up, the next story is going to be able the clerk who got killed because the robber pulled the gun out from under his coat and shot him.

I think taser gun would be better than pistol gun because of bloodly and murder.
