Now that Commissioner Brian Berger has been arrested twice this year, do you think he should finally resign?

He has been and is a disgrace to the Wilmington City Government office. Surely, you can find someone else more reputable!

At the time of this post, 483 people have voted and 75% of them think Berger should resign. I wonder if all those people will actually vote in the next election and vote him OUT! I know I will.

He was at the meeting this is true. It was apparently in the same bldg where his ex-gf works (conflicting stories of was she even inthe bldg or not) Secondly, Brian Berger had an escort of a NHC Deputy with him at the time and he was inthe mtg with Berger the whole time.. The Deputy obviously had to notify dispatch center where he was going and when he was there and obviously who he was with. If there was an issue with him being inthe bldg it should have been brought up that night right then and there.. Yes Brian has done some nutty things and the whole small claims court thing has me scratching my head but this PO Violation has a smell to it similar to the swamp bogs at low tide.. It stinks and something is way outta line with it.. How can he violate a protective order when he had a deputy with him at all times.. There have been cases Im aware of when DPOs are on file and the individual needs and has a right to get their belongings as such they have a police/sheriff escort #1 to protect the supposedly violator against false accusation #2 to prevent any incident from occuring. I would suspect this situation falls very much under that cirumstance. Brian Berger still has a job to do which he was trying to do the other night until this bogus charge was landed against him.. I mean seriously they Sheriffs office knew where Berger was, Deputy is with him and DPO information in the PD/Sheriffs system are supposed ot have key info such as Residence and Place of employment of said protectee. So again if there was an issue with him being there it should have been brought up right then and there. In this case I smell a rat likely due to somebody on the board Berger was observing knowing his ex gf worked inthe bldg and filed an anonymous tip or maybe his nutty ex (shes just as co-dependant and in need of professional help as him) found out the next day... If Ben David has any common sense this charge needs to be dropped asap.. It would be one thing if Brian showed up at her house or her sons school or something. He was at a meeting of an agency that is accountable to the NH BOS and he was trying to do his job that should not be a crime. Somebody mentioned before well why didnt he have them move the mtg uhh because they dont have to period. technically for them to move the mtg I suspect would have been big issues due to open mtgs law and notification requirements etc..

...even arm chair quarterbacks are able to diagnose his delusional ideations/persistent mental illness accurately.

He should be forced out..by having him committed to the Oaks....followed by the FOUR other lawmakers who have not yet enacted a Bill to legislate impeachment of a wacco.
