What was verdict?
Personally, I think "Yes, she's a role model for children and should be held accountable" and "It doesn't matter if she's a teacher. Anyone charged with DWI should be called out" should be combined into one. They're both saying that kind of news should be brought out in the open.
Which thinks the Jenelle girl from Teen Mom 2 is NEWS as well!! I am sorry but some of the stories you guys report are soooo ridic. Try to get some class and be a legitimate News Station....try modeling yourself after WRAL or WTVD in Raleigh...REAL news stations. I agree with the comment about, where are the pictures and addresses of the other DUI's??? Plus why post addresses to begin with? Cant that put someone in harms way???
Keep up the good work WWAY, if she loses her job because of this, SO WHAT, somebody could have lost their life while she was driving under the influence, but on second thought if she loses her job that would give her more time to be on the roads under the influence!!!!
If you feel thsi way, why isn't WWAY or WECT there everytime adrunk drver gets arrested and makes a huge deal out of it?
Because most of those drunk drivers aren't school teachers with the lives of young children in their hands on a daily basis.
You can check out their mug shots on the Star News website. It's public information.
I don't think just because she is a teacher that this should have become publicly displayed and reported in the news in the way that it has. You can best believe that she will be dealt with in the courts. She's human and she doesn't deserve to lose her job over this; her license maybe, but not her job. There are enough people that are unemployed. And I agree, where are the other 79 photos/names that received DWI's in the same time period>>
She does deserve to be treated differently. She has a big responsibility when driving a bus. If you were a parent of a child on the bus and found out that she was driving under the influence (which is big possibility whether you admit it or not) then you would talking a different tune. She should lose her license and therefore her job as bus driver. Stop making excuses for her
I know that if I get arrested for drunk driving, I will lose my job. I can guarantee you that she was aware of that fact also. Yet she chose to risk her job and drive drunk. She chose to endanger other lives on the highway with her reckless behavior. That shows extremely poor judgement on her part.
You can find the other photos/names on the Star News website. It's public knowledge.
It's a wash. Someone needing a teaching job is about to get one.
