NHHS is the best team with the best player we have seen in 20plus years! If there has been a better one I can't recall? The ALLEN kid is a game changer and his team feeds off him and the coaches as well as the crowd! CATS GONNA BE HARD TO BEAT! I wish he could've stayed at Laney! OH WELL! Good luck CATS!

What's up with Maxpreps rankings?
Take a look at maxprep rankings! What a joke! Richmond County 4 and 0 ranked 2nd! NHHS 3rd at 13 and 0! Charlotte Olympic 1st and have played nobodies! Look at the final overall football rankings Havelock 3A as number 1, Scotland county 4A #2! I watched both play on 2 different occasions. Scotland was far and away the best team this state had this year! I guess maxpreps has a blindeye for 4A schools. Look at the rankings they have in years past. Charlotte Latin and Charlotte Catholic both #1's in final rankiings for football! My little brother played at Catholic and won a state title! We would have been lucky to keep it RESPECTABLE against 4A schools! Who does the rankings? Maybe they should watch a game!

if alot of people visit NEW HANOVERS site on that site and sign up as that schools follower it builds points for ranking them. That's how it works politics in everything. How else can a team out of Idaho or North Dakota ever get a top 5 ranking in any sport?

thats because they have us beating Hoggard in the brodgen tournament by only three points. (66-63 when it should be 66-53)they posted the wrong score which is used in their rating scale. I'm sure that has a lot with the ranking because it looks like we barely beat Hoggard who is non ranked
Great Team!
The Wildcats are above anything else I have seen in this area as well as NC! I live in the Triangle and have seen pretty much all we have here as well as the Brogden tournament during Christmas. I pulled for my Vikes during the tournament, But Hanover is just too strong! The Vikes are a distant second to what the CATS have this season. Ashley then Laney finish the local schools in that order. Overhearing the schools from out of town during the tournament talk. They kinda understood New Hanover was the team to beat! Keep up the good work Wildcats! You guys got something special going this season! The Raleigh are is watching you as well as the rest of the NC! I am still gonna pull for the Vikings! But good luck Cats!
