Wish it wasnt so but since my wifes work sees fit to never give any holidays EVER paid we are going up to Central NC tomorrow and then back on Sunday. Despite not being in any field that would be considered essential like fire/pd/ems/medical. They also dont pay any extra for any holidays you are working to include Thanksgiving the last 2 yrs.. Some employers truly are the real life Ebenezer Scrooge of the story indeed, ironic considering the field she works in. (and YES if shes still there next year she'll be there having to work Christmas DAY like its a regular work day even though business is non-existant)
