What do you think about Gov. Perdue's decision not to run for re-election?

How about a choice that says, "she was a lousy governor and I am glad to see her go"?

The Governor has been a great advocate for and representative of our state for a long time. I do not blame her for stepping aside in this ramrod political environment.

Clearly, Perdue has become a rather unpopular governor. Consider the larger picture.

NC will likely be a battleground state in the national election in Nov. An unpopular Democrat governor would be a liability rather than an asset to the Big O.

Isn't it curious that the story apparently broke in the Washington Post before it made it to NC news outlets?

She ought not to run again, nor should any other politician that wants to raise taxes regardless if they are Demican or Republicrat
