I am so shocked that people who call themselves Christians would vote and make a judgment call on what is right or wrong according to their Christian belief. Does it not say in the Holly Bible thou shall not judge and in fact isn't this what everyone just did.
I am a married female to a man but by my own choosing. Please someone tell me where in the Holly Bible does it say who can or cannot marry. I do know that GOD created a women to bear children but did it say that everyone had to bear children. Look at all the women who cannot bear children for what ever reason medically, does this make that person evil. Did all the people that God created are they bad people, to me this issue that just came up for a vote should never have been a vote and we the people should not have took the stand to judge, that is for GOD TO DO. Remember, GOD CREATED ALL PEOPLE, those who are straight and those who are gay and lesbian. We all are his people.

So… What is this “Holly” Bible you keep referring to? I can only assume that is some unholy text that refers to the worship some pagan god I am thus far unfamiliar with… Kinda like the Necronomicon or Green Eggs And Ham. I have a visual of some manner of walking bush with waxy spikey leaves and red berries that demands sacrifices during December… Is this some kind of Christmas-Cthulhu cult? If so, I fail to see why this vegetable-god might be ok with gay marriage. After all what does he care so long as he gets to eat the souls of the innocent? Also… what are these “bear-children” you refer to? Are they like kid sized big-foots that go around doing the bidding this vegetable-god you seem so intent on worshiping? While your argument is both fantastic and compelling I fail to see how pagan plant gods and their malformed bear-people worshipers will influence the fight for civil-equality in NC in anyway.
Ammendment One

This raises many questions

It's not judgeing to affirm your belief in Gods command
I don't think of it as judging other people for practicing the gay lifestyle.
In all three Holy Books, God has declared homosexuality a sin. He is very clear in his command.
When I voted, I had no malice toward anyone. I just reaffirmed my God's position on it.
However, I have seen many posts that are fuming with hatred. It is a subject that has brought out alot of ugly and demeaning comments on both sides.
Every one had an opinion or belief, and everyone had an opportunity to exercise it at the polls.
I don't think we actually needed an amendment to accomplish whatever people think will be accomplished. I see legal actions in the future.
