There is more news Monday on one of Port City Java's founders leaving the company.

Port City Java is suing Don Reynolds, his wife Denise, and a company called Don Reynolds Properties for more than $187,000.

According to the lawsuit, Reynolds used Port City Java's money for his own company along with household and personal expenses.

The suit claims his wife Denise also used Port City Java's money for her own benefit, and Reynold's company used Port City Java's money to buy property in Highlands, North Carolina.

One of Port City Java's lawyers said they are in a holding pattern right now, since they have not yet heard from anyone representing Reynolds.

Don & Denise Reynolds aka Bonnie & Clyde

These two were like Bonnie and Clyde from the first day I met them. They have hurt a lot of people over the years. I agree that $187,000.00 is no where close to the damage done by this team of con artist. They beat Golden Corral out of over a million dollars. They have been sued by the majority of their franchisees because their model does not work outside of the Wilmington market. They snuck out of town in the dark of the night and now are in hiding in the Highlands. Now Port City Java can truly grow because the bully and his wife have been run out of town.

Don Reynolds

Is there any new info as of this date concerning any on-going lawsuits involving the Reynolds??

I worked for PCJ back when

I worked for PCJ back when they were maybe 4 or 5 stores total. I'm SO not surprised this happened... not good people, those two.

Boss Hogg got was was coming

Don Reynolds has screwed over to many people in this town. He ruled by fear and was nothing but a big bully. For years he has bragged about his house in the mountains. He may soon have a crib at the Big House. This community ios beter off with him GONE.

Good Riddens Hogg

stay tuned...

I'll bet when all the information comes to light, $187,000 is a mere shadow of what he really took.

Nice going, Don...too bad you didn't use some of the money for your employees' benefit.
