Port City Rock Against Rape wraps up

Saturday was the final night for the 7th annual Port City Rock Against Rape benefit to support the Coastal Horizons Rape Crisis Center. WWAY NewsChannel 3 anchor Meghan Packer introduced the Treblehook Band at 16 Taps on Princess Street in downtown Wilmington. 16 Taps was one of eight venues for the fundraiser. Port City Rock Against Rape is one of the biggest fundraisers for the Coastal Horizons Rape Crisis center each year. New Hanover County ranks fourth in North Carolina for the highest incidence of rape per capita in the state.
