PPD joins forces with another pharmaceutical giant

Pharmaceutical company PPD will begin this year by collaborating with another pharmaceutical giant.

PPD has purchased Merck's 130,000 square-foot vaccine testing laboratory in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

PPD will provide Merck with development and testing services over a period of five years. PPD will provide traditional laboratory and sample storage services for clinical development.
