It was a day of giving back for former Hoggard girls’ basketball coach, Columbus Pridgen. With the help of his new employer, Powell Bail Bonding, Pridgen organized a Feed the Homeless event in downtown Wilmington on Saturday. Fried chicken, baked beans, sweet tea and other good foods were served to the homeless, while Mount Zion Methodist Church performed. “We at Powell Bail Bonding wanted to give something back to the community for the many years of service they gave us, so we're having a feed the homeless today,” Pridgen said. This was the first ever Feed the Homeless event.

Good for you!

Although I am not a citizen of New Hanover county, thank you for what you did. You gave back to your community in such a wonderful way and you will be blessed for it!!!!!!!!! If more people thought of giving like you did, so many things would change for so many people.
