ยป e-mail this story | discuss | print Public meeting on Kure Beach boardwalk proposal A meeting will be held at Kure Beach Town Hall tonight to discuss extending the ocean front boardwalk. The walkway would extend the existing one from the downtown area north along Atlantic Avenue. Several residents voiced concerns about the plan saying the walkway would encourage illegal parking and be detrimental to the sand dune system. The meeting begins at 6 p.m.

Looks like a few beach front residents don't want the rest of us enjoying 'their' ocean views. How absolutely selfish and irritating.
