Putting on a bow for education

If wrapping presents gives you headaches during the holiday season, a group of women are willing to help. The American Women's Business Association is wrapping presents at the Independence Mall for the seventeenth year. Depending on how big your present is, and whether or not you need a box, it costs between one and ten dollars to have your present beautifully wrapped. All of the money they collect provides scholarships for local students. "If you go buy the gift wrapping and tape and everything yourself, that adds up", said Violet Huggins. "So if we can do it and make your life easier and help someone else that's a great thing to do." The American Women's Business Association will be wrapping presents until the mall closes on Christmas Eve. They're in the JC Penney's wing of the mall, next to Victoria's Secret.
